I am very much an amateur photographer, and I love the chance blogging gives me to develop my skills in this area on behalf of my clients. Which means sometimes I get it wrong.
Check out this London Drugs blog article to see my latest lessons learned.

In this post, I wrongly assumed the Certified Data logo was square. I took the photo before getting the logo—which you can see on the card tucked into the cereal, is very very horizontal. Sigh.
I put a black piece of card in the dry cereal, because my vision was to put the logo on it later in Photoshop and have the image be a cheeky reference to the written piece (wherein I mention cereal.)
Lessons learned are:
- to have take a safety shot of the cereal without the card in it.
- to gather all the elements first and THEN shoot the photo.
If you visit the blog post, please leave a comment, especially if you have an opinion about photography or cereal.
